jiffy customer service
« on: Feb 05, 2004, 03:17 PM »
I had a gas cap vent screw vibrate loose last weekend and an air filter cover screw vibrate loose at the same time,  so i obviously lost them in the two feet of snow and was unable to find them.  i e-mailed jiffy and told them of my dilemma.  within four days i had a new gas cap and two replacement screws.  i was impressed with the fast service and this is just one reason why i will own a jiffy for life.  (the other is that it will probably last longer than i will.)

I have had my air filter vent come loose also.  I got into the habit of checking every screw and bolt after I get home from fishing.  Make sure you check the bolt thate holds the auger to the power head.  You wouldn't believe how the vibration loosens this bolt.  I need to put some thread lock on it to solve the problem.  I have had that bolt loosen as much as two turns on me.
Bring on the ice!!!!!!!  <br />
