So I got to put the setup to the test.
At first I kept hitting the free fall release when I went to hook the fish. It took a bit to get use to it, but once I did it preformed really well. Drag was decent enough to handle some nice bass.
I've pretty much put the free fall into a panfish reel category, and it worked really well dropping my small tungsten jig. Paired on the St croix UL with an UL Spring all the bites were easy to detect.
Both paired up very well together.
