Always great to end a season on a good note.  It’s bitter sweet but I can hear the fat lady in a distance and she’s ready to sing. Yesterday was my last day on local big water, the prefrontal bite was on and we had a good day.  Surprisingly the bite window was late morning and again late afternoon. Had 4 flags and 4 fish to the ice. It’s great when a plan comes together on a last ditch effort. Be safe out there if you continue chasing last ice, it’s still there if you know where to look.

Thanks, ice was deteriorating fast Thursday by mid afternoon.  Some lakes and ponds will survive others won’t. Forecast shows very cold temps for next week. Hopefully it won’t be to late.
