This saturday at beechwood lake is the annual CV anglers ice fishing tournament.  You can see the rules at wellsboro tackle shack on facebook or wellsborotackleshack.c om  its a great lake to fish and all the people in CV anglers are wonderful. Hope to see you all there saturday febuary 8th 2020

Is there gonna be safe ice for a Tourney there this weekend after the warm temps and rain?!

Yes, it is this Saturday, Feb 8th.  Fortunately, we missed a lot of the rain early in the week and didn't lose much ice around here.  People have been fishing all week. We have mostly good cold weather moving through the weekend.  It should be a great event.  We will be posting an ice update again tomorrow too.

Unfortunately, unexpected heavy rain and snow last night through today have deteriorated conditions some since yesterday. This event has been postponed until Feb 22nd

Out on it today although not planning to fish the tournament. Marked a fair number of fish on the bottom- mostly dink perch. Good luck y'all.
