« on: Dec 23, 2003, 01:18 AM »
I was told once on how to GROW your own waxworms. It's FUN to see the little waxworms grow. Just forgot who told me. I'll TRY to find who told me this..I MAY get beat, because someone just might fill in the info: here..
Your Very Welcome to do so, if you know how.

i found it, it's on page 12 in the general ice fishing chat forum . hope this helps ......if you do decide to grow them i was told to fold wax paper into a fan shape and hang it from the top of the cage for the moth's to eat . also crumple some up and throw on bottom of cage for the larvea. make sure you use a small diameter screen , so it's harder for them to escape.             john :'(

i did that for meal worms i got 1000 off ebay and put them in a 5 gallon tank feed the ever once and a while it's been about a year and i have a least 5000 there is like no room in the tank that is how many i got . it's so easy to do
1.by waxworms
2.put in a fish tank with no water and what ever u want for bedding
3.put waxworms in tank, with a mesh screen on top
4. add food
5. wait a little couple days put in a small container bring fishing.
