Can someone with the 7" look at the back of the display unit and see if there are any mounting points.. or maybe snap a pic? Trying to decide if I want to go this route, if so I would like to figure out a way to mount it in a soft pack of some sort

Not sure which one your talking about. The 7 and 9 inch come in a nice compact hard case.

The current model 7". I know they do, but that looks awkward as heck to carry around while checking holes in shallow water. I want to mount it on basically a flasher base with bag.
