Question with installing a Elite 4 HDI into a PPP 18I kit....

What do you need help with? The transducer cable goes to the back of the unit that says sonar. The other cable goes to the back of the unit that says power. You buy the 2 connectors at a hardware store for the red and black cable for the 12v battery. The other wires are for GPS if you have a boat or kayak.

My question is, do I use the red connector that supplies power when in the boat. The one that came with the finder for the power supply or use the red and black ones that are part of the wire harness on the ice  transducer. I got the blue connector adapter that connects the transducer harness to the finder. Do I just plug the ice transducer into the adapter then into the finder and tie back the red and black power clips. Thanks
