 :tipup:14* checked a small bluegill pond last night and it had a little over 1 1/2" clear ice. I was able to stand on it but will feel more comfortable come sunday.

Yeah it was 3" black ice.  More than enough for me but I still stayed close to shore and in less than 6' since I was by myself.  Just scouting for Sunday.  :)

It was 8 degrees out in Oneonta this AM. I froze my keister off deer hunting for a couple hours. It is 8:40 a.m. now and it has only warmed up to 10 degrees! Ice was forming on Wilber Lake and all the small ponds were frozen.
