FLETCHER POND
« on: Feb 07, 2022, 09:36 AM »
I am going on my annual fishing trip with 3 other guys to Fletcher Pond this Thursday-Sunday. Over the past 10 years we have minimum to no luck out there. Any other lakes close by you guys can recommend that we could catch some decent pan fish on?  Thanks in advance

Havent been up that way in a few years but we always did good on twin lake in atlanta. Go out to the bigger section right of the rustic launch. Also, Avery lake south of atlanta off from I believe its skyline dr???? So north side of the lake. There are some of the biggest gills you will ever catch in that lake...and im not #$%@ you either. If you can find them you will be shocked. Good luck

I will also add that you need a fish finder on Avery. In our trips you could catch medium size a foot off the bottom but the bigger gills will hover 4 to 6 ft off bottom. Without a flasher you would never know they are at that depth. Just my two cents..
