I'm ready for next year, but I still have a couple of months left to go before the ice leaves up here.

Ice for a few more months!! Don't I wish. I'll hit the mountain lakes over the next month or so, but the ice around here will be getting sketchy in a few weeks.
As for the pike, whatever program Tinytim uses to measure them, it was spot on! I had to take the pic at an angle to keep the glare off the fish and tape since it was just after dark, so after I posted it definitely looked a bit longer than it really was! Congrats again to you Drifter! Good luck the rest of the season and keep posting those monsters! - OH

Night pics can be tough like that.
After dark I'm usually lounging on the couch watching the hockey game with a rum & coke in my hand so I don't have those pesky glare issues.

But if I do I just turn out the lights and the glare on the TV is gone.

Congrats to all competitors who placed well. I had fun this winter chasing those big fish, and spending time with my kids. I've turned them into some real good anglers.

I want to thank all the sponsors who made this tournament possible, Iceshanty (Scott) for allowing it to happen, Lonewolf (Doug) for all the work he did over the last decade, building it up to what it is today and to TinyTim for continuing the tournament for all of us to enjoy. If it wasn't for this tournament I would really be bored out of my skull and it would be a loooong winter. It seriously gives me something to look forward to when its cold and dreary outside. Thanks to everyone again.

I also want to thank my kids for all their help this winter, running video cameras and still cameras, when I yelled out "FISH ON", they would reel up their lines and come running to help capture the moments for our YouTube video channel.

I look forward to another competition next year.

to bad the tourney is over...... its always a day late or a dollar short. I caught 6 crappies yesterday that were between 14.5 and 15 3/4 ". probably would of placed in the crappie category.
