There was alot of open water in the center, I've not been there but heard it was not that safe yet, maybe others will answer.

late this past Sunday we walked out on 6/7 inches and then we found a spot that only took one hit with the spud to go through sat. there was a very strong current melting the ice from below?
fishing is hard can I go home now

I wouldn’t be taking a quad out there. I went out for a couple hours yesterday, and was on 5-6”. Walked over a crack that, where I crossed only had about 2” for a foot on the other side. It got back up to that 5-6” pretty quick, but I was only on a very small area of the lake. And with the snow you couldn’t see the ice.

Any update on this? With the recent temps id think she would be safe.
