Getsomekayak: You brew your own beer... I like the sound of that!

I'm seriously thinking about starting to do that in the near future.

It is quite simple, and there are infinite options to make it your own recipe. There are tons of different kits out there, from mild to wild... you can get up and running for just a couple hundred bucks, and then each batch will cost as little as $30 or so depending on what you want to brew. I also brew my own wine (which is even easier)

Finally got my account activated, just started the ice fishing adventure this year. With being a Wisconsin resident and beer drinker that loves to fish I think I could fit in around here.

Right on, I always say I'm going to do it, but now I just have to make the move and buy myself a brew kit. Any recommendations on which kit you prefer? What kind of beer do you typically make? I'm a big fan of amber beers, but I like a lot of other types as well.

HIMO. In regards to your 2 favorite hats. I have a Packer hat (actually I have about 10 or so!) Do you really have a GoatBoy hat? If you ever get them made up let us all know. They'd probably go over BIG!! I know I'd pay for one, I can't speak for anyone else.

yes Nick, the Goatboy hat you see in the picture is mine. it was very costly to buy so I doubt any member would want to buy one. $200.00 6 yrs. ago. the company I bought it from is now defunct.I am going to try and organize some get-togethers with the Wisconsin Goatboys this year and everyone will have a chance to have their picture taken wearing it.

I don't suppose the Goatboys logo is copyrighted or anything is it. I'm wondering if I'd get into trouble for using the logo for artwork. I was thinking of just making some trucker hats with the logo screenprinted on them. Also would there be an issue with people contacting me on this site in order to purchase them? I figured since you were the Law and Order in this here e.town you'd be the one to ask.
