Sorry to hear that 52. Gander has has it's share of issues over the years. It's a highly competitive business now pretty dominated by BPS. I remember the first reorganization and the big sale at State Fair Park some time in the 80's. Bought a bunch of stuff for pennies on the dollar.
I used to work at a retail mom n pop tackle store. Had 4 owners in the time I was there and only one had it near right. Learned a lot from Pat and he learned from me. Good stuff and employee pricing on St. Croix rods.
I'll be at 3 Lakes this weekend but I doubt there's any fishing on Mom's lake. It gets direct drainage from some cranberry operation and it opens up pretty quick. We'll see.
Still think there'll be ice in April? I'll be floating the Wolf @ New London for 'eyes about then (or a little later).
