calling all perch!

if youre like me (broke and in college!) you cant afford a vex. and even if you do own a vex chime in on this one. what is youre best tactic to call in perch from far away lands... i like shiny stuff! i like bangin spoons off the bottom and stirrin up the silt a little and that gets em comin in sometimes!

Set a string of tip-ups out with a fathead minnow and when you get one go jig the hell out of it.

put minnows in a mason jar then lower it down the hole then the flash could attract the fish. or you could put wet cat or dog food in a sock then lower it down the hole then every 10-15 min shake it that may work.

Squeeze a minnow so the air bladder pops then toss down the hole..

A handful of oatmeal in the hole and swirl it around, it all sinks real slow and draws them in.  Looks crazy on the vex though.
