Question on the cards
« on: Dec 31, 2013, 09:24 PM »
Is it against any rules to shrink it down? It wants to print half page, can I shrink it down to say 6" in length so I can fit it into the pocket on my bibs without folding it?

Oh and maybe a suggestion for next year... use any push-pull style ruler. I carry a mini one in my bibs and its white, big enough #'s to see but still doesn't fall within the rules. Going to be a PITA to carry a big yeller one around.

YES! You can make the card smaller.

The problem with allowing all kinds of tape measures is someone will always use one with #'s ya can't see and then complain when I don't take thier word on the length.  ::)

What about a "mini' yeller one? Going to start a 6 day search for one so I don't have to carry a giant tape measure in my pocket.  ;D

There are small 10 or 12' tape measures. If you mean the mini key chain one, no way thats gonna show the #'s/lines big enough to read.  :-\

I got to the lake today and realized that I didn't print out a card! Lucky I didn't catch anything...... wait a minute, that didn't sound right!

Hey Tim,
I have a question that I am not sure has been asked before.
Is it possible to have the Tourney card "printed to screen" on my smart phone. Then the phone placed on the ice next to the fish and the ruler, displaying image of the card. Would that be acceptable?
I know a lot of guys have smart phones, this way you can pull up the card in a pinch if you forget the paper copy?
Thanks
J.

Yes, I will accept that, as long as I can CLEARLY see the card.
