He Guys I just got back from Metro airport, went thru your area today. Took my wife down to Airport for a trip to see her mother in OK City. Went down I75 and came back up 127. That Kensington Lakes area always looks real interesting when I drive thru there. Was 427 miles round trip,  a little longer coming back. Well

Lived in Shawnee and Yukon for almost 3 years, worst years of my life.......Nice experience to live in another part of the country, but I found out Oklahoma wasn't "OK" for somebody used to a place like upstate NY....Esox

kensington is a nice area but it gets fished a little to hard..its an awsome place to bring the kids so they can swim play and watch the deer though.

Thanks for swingin' thru!  Kensington is a very nice area.  It's about the closest area to wet a line for some real action for me.  My son and I usually hit that lake a few times a year.  Nothing like what you've got in your backyard, though!

Don't go gettin any ideas about moving there.  You're a Houghton Lake kind of guy.  We got fish to catch.  I have come to the conclusion that I am an ice fisherman.  Think I went out about six times all Summer.  I fish more in a week-end in the Winter than I did all Summer.  Lookin forward to the Wintertime.

Me too Rick, I was just gettin started pretty good this summer then my neighbor up and got sick on me and died. After tho I did buy his truck off his widow. So now you'll see Dach in a big White (Ford) shhhhh. LOL.
Had to jump the fence. LOL. Gettin anxious for Ice.

Hey Mike, Just a thought, the next time your wife's gotta fly somewhere have her check going outa/into Bishop in Flint. Quite a few people I know try to get there flights in/out of Bishop. Lots smaller, easy access, not the crowds and BS you gotta go thru at Metro.

hes right..bishop is alot easier.. its really not that much closer to me then metro but ill try to get flights out of there whenever possible

Yeah Burksee, we heard about that after she bought her tickets for metro
still checked on it and now direst flights available, will remember  that tho, some were real cheap.
