This picture is making its way around face book. The posters says its 46" and 25LB. The fish is clearly larger than that but the photo looks altered. Just doesn't look right according some photo experts. No way, photo shopped!!
-
Since when does Leonardo DiCaprio ice fish? :woot:
-
It could very well not be photo shopped. If any of you have caught some decent sized fish, you know how easy it is to make it look massive by holding it away from your body. It is clear that is what's going on here.
-
I agree with FishinNY...his arms are extended and gives it that massive look.
Either way...nice catch Leo!!! ;D
-
agreed...but its still a big big Pike!
-
Stiff-arming it! But it's a tank either way

Absolutely.
-
Very nice fish. Congrats
-
Just did the ole arm extension and got as close to the camera while still being able to get the fish in the pic...
Its a big one with out a doubt, looks like he wanted it to be a little bigger LOL

Exactly. Probably not bigger then claimed, and definitely not photoshopped. Just a long-armed photo.. i get such a kick out of all you guys saying photoshop...
That fish is big tho. You can tell how deep it is.
-
certainly a giant thats for sure!
i dont think its photo shopped just EAP'ed to the max!!!
-
Photo-shopped :cookoo:
-
Great fish😜 it's just his arms are extended forward that's why it looks unreal

Bahahaha. Now that's funny right there. Now that's a PIKE!
-
Nice looking fish ........his right hand just should be showing , fish's body is creased , and based on the size his hand should be showing I think ?
-
altered! that pike is bigger than the guy holding it, something isn't right with his left hand either, elbows are bent w/one resting on his knee, so it isn't a stiff arm photo, but...who cares?
-
Its a good fish.
The image was taken by people that know to get the fish closer to the lens and keep fingers/hands out of the image. Long arming a fish and having your hand wider than your head is a size give away. Done like this there is no way to really gage how big it is. Masterfully done.

( X 2 ) !! :nono: :nono: You don't even have to look hard to see it !! :callcops: :callcops: LOL

^^^^This is what I'm seeing^^^^^ Also note the darker colors of the fish's spots where the crease is/where the guys hand SHOULD be. def. Photoshopped and not an arm extension special.
-
Yeah, its photoshopped, a real dink. Nobody on this thread would care to catch it!
-
Great catch! Regardless of the perspective I would be happy to catch one of these any day.
-
No photoshop done, just a good extension on the arms. It was caught in Branch County, Michigan. This guy pulls some monsters through the ice. He posted a 44", 22 lber on his Facebook page about week before this one.

Boom goes the dynamite. :o thats for clearing it up. I was getting a good laugh at everyone saying photoshop, though.
-
Seems like something that big would make the local paper!! Nothing there!
-
No matter what still a nice fish..
-
I always look at people's hands when looking at pics. Definite slammer

I live in branch county, been pretty quiet around here, something like that word travels fast, I'd like to see this in person, any names I will look it up!!

Nice catch man, fish looks giant. Doubt its photo shopped. Fish that big can look like giants depending on how you hold them. Slob right there ,
