Hit a little pond north of town with the Lakernator this morning. Non stop smallies, on heavy metal!! Biggest meathead was 20" over 4lbs.
50 degrees when we left

Long pond is in north fort collins, right by the country club. It's a private lake, its probably the best warm water fishery in Colorado... massive smallies, lmb, tiger muskie, walleye and 17" crappie every other cast. If you ever get the chance drop whatever your doing and go.
