Title: Bassmasters......fest

Hit a little pond north of town with the Lakernator this morning.  Non stop smallies,  on heavy metal!! Biggest meathead was 20" over 4lbs.
50 degrees when we left ;D

Impressive. Nice work.  Smallmouth are one of the few fish I've never caught through the ice.

That's not long pond is it?? I've gotten to fish there a handful of times. My connection has no interest in ice fishing though....

Long pond is in north fort collins, right by the country club. It's a private lake, its probably the best warm water fishery in Colorado... massive smallies, lmb, tiger muskie, walleye and 17" crappie every other cast. If you ever get the chance drop whatever your doing and go.
