QUESTION ABOUT BOMOSEEN
« on: Dec 18, 2007, 11:44 AM »
I am renting a house  Rustic Rd. on lake bomoseen.  Will be there end of Feb and was wondering how fishing is in this location.  The owners told me it was near crystal beach and past float bridge??  The house looks to be situated in a cove looking out towrads and island.  Wondering about depths, species and overall quality of lake.  having trouble getting a topo.  I am from Berkshire county and would gladly provide any info on Berkshire fishing. Thanks

Google maps show it near Float Bridge, past Crystal Beach.  That is also known as Eckley Point.  Good Largemouth Bass, Pike, Perch and panfish in that area.  Brown Trout are out in the deeper water south of there.  There are no good maps on line of the depths.  There may be a derby on the lake that weekend, so you would have plenty of company!
