Any reports on the ice, are there any bait shops nearby?

Not sure of the ice, but the only place I know of selling bait is Wrights in Derby. Both stores in Morgan plan on selling bait, All 3 said they can't sell smelt.  ???

They are fishing the beach end of island pond, back towards the boat launch theres still only 2 in ice.
