Crane Creek report?
« on: Jan 26, 2014, 01:26 PM »
Has anyone caught any fish in front of C.C. yet? I know some guys have gone out there, I just haven't heard any results. I have friends coming from out of town and I want to put them on fish. I'm not looking for numbers, already have them, just looking for a positive report. Or should we stay east where we've been doing pretty decent? Never leave fish to find fish, right.

Rut...was out last night 1.5 NNE.....16-17fow. Went late.....only fished 1hr......not a mark. A solid 12" of ice. Have not heard any otherreports as far as catching. I would imagine crack opened back up out there  at the 2.7 mi or so, but not sure. Sounds like camp perry is better bet for catching but not sure how bad wind hurt ice over there either. Good luck.

As of now weekend winds look great, comparatively..... less than10. Just might be limited to how far you can get out with these latest winds....and ice cutter having gone through. On extended forecast temps look to be dipping down again next week. Maybe wecan get some cold temps with a "reasonable" wind for a change....

We're taking 3 airboats so the cracks shouldn't be an issue. The shoves might be though. ???
