I set up for the sunrise yesterday once again it was the dead sea, seems like it's either feast or famine on that lake. Plenty of ice 16" and there was a small car on it, walking is great anywhere, once the ice started to soften the old bad spots were deteriorating so be weary of the crappy ice this year! Good luck and stay safe!

Rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.

We fished it last week, over near the cemetery. 24 tip ups between 3 of us. Had 4 flags all morning. 2 of them just after sunrise. 19” laker and a 22” laker.
Other 2 were around 830/9 2 good sized perch.
That was it we left around 1030.

Didn't mention I was set around the islands, I lost a decent trout jigging and a few empty flags. Counted 8 other groups in all directions. I'd like to get up there once more myself.

10-4 Weekdays, if walking is good we’ll fish the reefs and move around some. Will be there Sunday.

I fished the East shoreline last Sunday and managed 5 on traps and 4 jigging. Largest was 24”. Was really hoping for a caspian rainbow but no dice. Weather was great and had a blast. The morning bite was best and slowed considerably when the skies cleared. Walking was easy once out of the drifts and slush hugging the shore. Plenty of good ice with quite a bit of crappy ice over it. Hope you finish out strong! Good luck

Thanks weekdays, actually never made it up there. Between getting a new lab pup on Saturday and the wind forecast, decided not to make the trek. Thanks for all the help and info guys!
