First fishes of 2013
« on: Jan 05, 2013, 08:06 PM »
Today I finally caught my first 3 fishes of 2013, 3 small perches, it was my 4th time on the hardwater for the 2012-2013 season. Last Friday I fished from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. not a single bite. Today I fished from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., I also had a few bites & missed one fish, I was supposed to go again tomorrow but I think I will not anymore.

1 walleye, 1 black sauger, 1 burbot & 2 perches last night on the Ottawa River in a bay in Gatineau area.   Also caught a member of the reptile family (Salamander may be the proper word for it in english).
