I haven't been to HL since the first week of December, but other than the slush monter or possibly poor edge ice, you shouldn't have any troubles.  Stay away from new heaves/pressure ridges if you find any.  The ice is still fine at much lower elevations, so I'm sure it will be fine there too.

Well if HWY 32 isn't closed because of drifting and blowing snow I should be up there. I gotta feeling however that 32 is going to be a nightmare in the morning.

was there most of the day today.... 20 inches of ice, the wind was terrible today, lot's of people out, was pretty slow, but a few people had some nice fish on the ice
