Lost Dog

How thick is the ice at Lost Dog?  We were at Anvil Draw last week and it was awfull.  Didnt get a chance to make it to the creek.

7"-8" at Lost Dog on Wednsday, caught 6 small Macks 17"-21".

Its the campground where the Blacks fork and the Green river come together at the gorge.

Anvil Draw was wide open on Saturday. Buckboard bay was frozen including Big Ben and Jap. Island, don't know how thick?

No ice down there yet.  I dont think there is any past Buckboard

Last week I heard people saying you could still launch a boat. . . haven't been out there yet this year, but I bet back in the cove is safe ice. It always takes the longest for that part to freeze up. I don't think current creek is frozen either, but once again I myself haven't checked.

There is safe ice at the confluence, ice down past Currant creek (I don't think it is safe), a big stretch of open water and more ice in the big bend area of buckboard.  Thats what I saw this afternoon but, with this wind only God knows what will be left tomorrow.
