Have you guys or do you guys ever jig through the ice with the storm wild eyes swim baits?

Saw it in a magazine, wondered how it works?

No, I have nbot had much luck in open water with them so I dont bother on the ice either. The only swim bait in my arsenal is the chubby darter, and I use it more to draw in the larger fish.

I have a few storm wild eye soft baits, they may hit the ice this season but not sure yet

I use there soft baits, only in the winter. I use baits with them. Small smelt work well, but i find the best bait for lakers, is a thin strip of bacon, maybe 2-3 inches long. When u bait up, just hook into the end of bacon. U'll see u get really nice action, off this rig up. Ive used the wild eye soft bait in the summer, with not much luck for trout, much more luck with the pike, Could'nt keep'em off. well good luck guys

And in strange valleys greet strange deaths alone;
The grim, intrepid ones who would unravel
The mysteries that shroud the Polar Zone.
