I made it... 10" perch from Silver Lake, Iowa tonight.  Yep, we do ice fish in Iowa too...
Not a huge one but it will taste good..  Tom Schmitz Forgot my camera so I took these when I got home tonight, maybe that disqualifies this entry.  Oh well, I had fun, what the heck..

Central Iowa, we have 8 to 12 inches, but this week will put a hurtin on the thickness though. 40 degrees most of this week, ah >:(

Bigredonice, we fished thru 18" ice last night.  I should have held the perch out a bit and it might have looked as big as the one's in your avatar.  Thanks.

Steve B -  This Silver Lake is in Worth Co., Ia.  West of NorthWood off I-35

Yah, leinie's!!!! I'm HAPPY too.  factory is a few hours away, I'll have to plan an ice fishing trip that way some time and take a tour.  What's the "big butt shirt"?
