Title: Magog white perch
Post by: Vtperchchaser on Mar 09, 2023, 07:32 AM
Any one who has been fishing Magog have any intel on ice conditions? Id like to try to get on some whites this weekend but I’m over hr away and don’t want to waste a trip if ice is no good. Normally I fish st albans bay for whites but the ice is trash. Not looking for your spot more just info if there’s decent ice towards the islands

I'm just seeing your post.  Not sure if you made the trip or not.  There is about 12 inches of ice out there - a mix of white and black. Some spots are slushy, which will probably continue to get worse as the snow starts to melt. The perch bite has been hit or miss.  This weekend we did poorly but last weekend they were on fire.
