Looks great! When you set that on the ice will it be on blocks? Seems like the door will scuff the ground otherwise

I just ave to mowe the grass in that area. Lol. But then it would be easyer to se that there is some clearance to the ground because of the frame underneath. And yes I will be putting it on 2" blocks when on he ice to keep it from getting frozen down.

Wel I finally went and bought my last two windows and got them installed and also got 10 more tubes of caulk and silicone to get aplyed. Then all I got is a little trim to do on the outdid and install a radio antenna and then other than some exterior porch lights I can call the outside DONE finally. Then on to the inside were I have lots to do without having to spend more money. I already bought 10 sheets of  the pi e paneling and have everything to get the stove installed. I have the roof vent all ready to go in and think I have figured out how I am going to finish the floor. The back 8' will be carpeted and the front 6' and v will be linoleum. Once the carpet is down I can instal the catch covers and the tie downs for the Atv. So I should have lots of pics to come in the next two weeks or so.

I bought the jack today and built a mount for it and installed it.

The rear window installed

the other front v window installed

Some weep holes I made for a window I converted from an up and down to a side to side window.

some more caulking is done on the corners.

Well all widows have them and they are holes to let water get out of the bottom of the jam. But I used th window in the opposite direction so I had to make some of my own.

Just curious why did you put the rear window in the drop down door? I would think it will be a problem when loading your ATV .

The door dosnt drop down it swings open. The reason I did it that way is because the whole shack drops down.

Well I think I am going to take the solar route to charging my batteries. I am getting an 18watt solar battery chargeing kit and that should be plenty for what I will need since most of my lighting is LED anyway.

post some pics of your panels and their instillation when you get them as well! im sure you will, you have been awesome with documenting this whole adventure of a build! i too am putting solar on my shack, right now all i have is a 1.5 watt trickle charge panel that just suction cups to the inside of my window, and clips to the pos and neg of that battery or can charge the batter by plugging it into a 12v power plug.. it does not do much for charging but it was only like 15 bucks at harbor freight and i think it does help keep the full battery charged longer

Clear Ice, we put a rubber roof on our trailer on our property at least 5yrs ago and it is still holding up great, still no leaks at all. Still looks as good as the day we put it on.

The paneling looks great.  In my opinion the knotty pine is the perfect paneling to go with your dark green exterior colored tin.

 Hey Man Cave,

I am looking at your antenna photo, what is that aluminum trim called that is securing the rubber roof to the side of the shack? Where can I get some of that? I am about to get started on the exterior of my shack, and I need that type of trim.

Great job on your build, It looks great!

 Jimmy

Jimmy, it is called batton bar and is sold at menards in 10' pieces and is around $7 each make sure you use the screws with the gasket on the bottom of the head to prevent water from weeping in around the screws and I am not sure if I spelled "batton" right but the guys at the store will know what you are are talking about.  ;D
