Ugly stick 24"....I love both of mine...they're sensitive enough for panfish and have enough backbone for pickerel and walleye. Around $20.

I'm partial to frabill rods. The amplifier series has a lot of different actions, with a 30", medium action that would be perfect for walleye and small trout. I have a frabill ultra ice in a 30", medium action. Great for walleye and lighter lures for trout.
All these are under $35.

I too love my Frabill sensive rods.  I use ultra lights for panfish and love them.  I have a Buzz Stick which I do not care for.

I just recently bought a Gander Mountain guide series ice rod in Light. 14 bucks. Then threw on a Gander ultra light reel with infinite anti-reverse and 3bb's. 11 bucks. 20 crappies in 2 hours, priceless.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. i know they make a medium action rod too. I also have a Genz lightning series ML rod that I got end of season for 14 bucks and the Garcia 100u reel was 29bucks. Works great for walleye. I'd love to get a good St Croix for my next rod.
