Buck Lake
« on: Feb 12, 2004, 11:51 AM »
Heading to Buck Lake tomorrow for the first time. I know how to get there from Pigeon Lake. I was out at Sylvan Lake last weekend and the snow on the lake was about 12 inches? We used chains on the back of my buddies 4x4 to get around.
Looking for any info anyone would like to share on Buck Lake. You know, stuff like; How deep is the snow? We will probably be walking on. Which access point would be best for that? Should we go on from the south side? What should we use for tackle and bait? How much food should we bring? Is there a car wash there? Can I bring my old Star Wars action figures? How much does a 1/4 ounce jig weigh? What is the square root of 79380670.3894?

Well, mainly, just where we should access the lake and how deep the snow is, would be fine. Everything else is not that important, but feel free to give it a shot.
