I used to live in Nipawin, Sask., so I have had the opportunity to fish Tobin Lake on many occasions.  My son, who is now 27, spent his first 5 yrs fishing with me on Tobin.  His first pike was nearly 10 lb.!!!  He proudly wore his Tshirt "I caught Toby".  I was secretary of the Nipawin Northern Pike Festival while I lived there in the late 70's & early 80's.  I have been lucky enough to catch a 15 lb. wally, and a 32 lb. pike.  I do not think that I will top it, unless I return to Sask.,  which I hope to when I retire.  I expect to have a house lakefront, where Ma & I can enjoy the time!!!   In the summer it will be fishing and in the winter it will be fishing & "   ".
