Well after downloading a new video program to get me started (thanx Scott) I made my first video from one of last years gill outtings, can wait to get back out on the ice and make some more

not at all, it was shot with my aqua-vu scout...i traded it in thi syear for a newer model and I used the aqua-vu DVR attachment to record it. to piece it together i used the basic windows mvoie maker as recomended ont his site

Nope, bad choice of words, I sold it to a buddy and used the funds plus a little extra to buy another unit. this way he gets a great deal on a camera he knows was taken care of, and I got my upgrade

Great job on vid. I love using ratso and shrimpo's for pan fishing. But the rat finky is my favorite ice fishing lure of all times for pannin . Made by same company though.

i thnk you proved to me why i like a flasher vs camera. it's bad enough knowing they're there and checking out the presentation on the vex but to see them all around and not doing jack!! man that would drive me crazy (moreso if i was changing things up to get'em to hit!)

As mentioned in a few other posts I picked up a new camcorder just for the ice, it is waterproof and good down to -20, it's downfall is it is not top rated when in low light indoor conditions, but since that was not the primary use I thought it should be good to go....i was getting ancy to record something and with it being over a month away from first ice, i thought I would show off my secrect arsenal room...I just posted it so it may take some time to get up there

yeah, that is called off season organization...after one trip on the ice it all geos south...pre season I have the jigs organized and easy to find and sort, but after one trip its all for nothing

Nice, I like the comment about the wifey @ the end. I've got a closet downstairs the has become my gear spot, but not quite as stacked in order as yours! My problem is hiding boxes, bags, & wrappers from new purchases in the outgoing garbage! Also telling her that I've "had" something she comes across for a long time, she just doesn't remember. Like she does to me w/ her new shoes, I'm sure of that!

Here is a video from this past weekend...Could not get a pike to set off a flag, and I could not get one to leave me alone while gill fishing. this was a nearly a 10 minute video trimmed to some key points in the duel

all in all we called it a draw, he went his way and i went mine

I went through that exact scenario 2 weeks ago, changes lures 6 times and the pike kept coming back and just staring at the lure...then I dropped down a smelt and she got real excited and sucked it down... Ice that one!

I tried that, as soon as he was out of view i ran to the minnow bucket grabbed one and threw it down the hole, 2 seconds later...slam...not the pike, but a largemouth came out of nowhere and hit it
