Vex cable covering split 6 " up from diver. Would liquid rubber work till I get another. Anybody have this happen. Not complaining had it 7-8 yrs it really takes a beating in and out of the holes. Think I cut it with the line.

Mine is over 15 years old and I discovered a crack before the season.. I just super glued the crack and has worked so far.. shrink tube would be a better solution but didn't have time and didn't want to screw something up
