Yup. I have that model and love it. Hardly need any heat in it. Was in mine one time with an elderly relative. He needs a lot of heat to stay warm. It was below zero out that day and I had the heater on low. Got so hot for me I stepped outside to cool off. He loved it in there.  ;D  If the sun is out I don't even use a heater. The inside walls are black and perhaps it helps absorb the sun.

I have an uninsulated fatfish 2-3 man.  It keeps the wind off but from being in an insulated shanty there is a huge difference.  Pretty much as soon as you kill the heater you are going to feel it immediately.

I like the added heat retention of the insulated but I do like the lighter weight of uninsulated.  For me it all depends on the day and which is going to be a better fit.

I have a Quickfish 3i and it is built well and warm. My portable Buddy gives me all the heat I need.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

We have the Eskimo Sierra thermal two man and we have to open the door when we have the Buddy Heater on low. The material is heavy quilt polyester canvas. The non-thermal is single ply polyester canvas. I suspect the same would be true for the quickfish you're looking at.

We have quickfish 5i and run a buddy heater on low on all but the coldest/windiest days and are quite warm. Also very easy to put up and take down. If there is one flaw it’s that straps to connect to the ice anchors are wimpy. We upgraded to cinch (lashing) straps
