Actually, we saw it down the week before but had to wait for her to freeze back in so we could work around her. Only took a little over two hours to get her out and off the lake with very little damage. A new coat of paint and a few improvements to the interior and she'll be ready for 2006-2007.

I'm not sure how tall the shanty was, however it is a quickflip II. So maybe you could find some spec's on some website

We had 10" and then a drastic warm-up with rain and a lot of wind reducing the ice to about four to six inches. The ice around the shanty got soft and she slowly sank in. There was about 8" when we hoisted her back out.

It's meant to be upside down..his caption mentions drilling a hole clear to China.....he's done it as a joke

I layed the rod down beside the pike to get you guys an idea on the size..It was caught on a tip-up and shiner.

No dolly varden Mike, that is a very small brookie
