Well I made it out this morning on a local lake I havn't fished much and we didn't get into them thick but what we got was impressive. Most perch were in the 10"-11 1/2" range with a 12" or two thrown in. Here is my take home for the day. I love it when you fight perch like this. And today was another one of those days were if I didn't have the vex, I wouldn't have caught didly!

that little local lake looks extremely familiar.....be careful with your backgrounds if you want to keep your locations "secret". There are some really nice perch in there..

Well made it out today after a couple frustrating days of crappy weather. Got to the ice about 12:30 and took me a bit to find the right depth and area but once I drilled in the right location I produced this in about 30-40 min. I caught about a dozen small gills and a couple small perch. The fight from these gills was amazing.

Well I made it out on the ice this morning with some fellow IS members and my cousin. Met Deposit and Chainsaw for the first time. As we arrived Camofish was releasing a nice LMB. After the tip-ups went in my cousin's hot hole started and by the end of the morning I think he had taken 6 or 7 bass out of the holes and he let me take 2 including this nice 18 1/2" LMB.

Here is Chainsaw with a nice one.

We decided to head out and go try for something for the table and we both managed a nice limit of gills.

Look at the colors on this bluegill.

And here is a nice handfiller.

Untill next weekend.

Well I made it out on the ice Sunday with some friends and my cousin. We did pretty good with the gills and I managed one nice perch. Was my first day using an under water camera and it was very cool. Saw several bass and gills. Later in the morning FishingKing and BigRed showed up and fished with them the rest of the afternoon. Was good to shoot the S _ _ T with you guys. Here is my pile to filet.

Man, you guys have some good gill lakes. Here in the Twin Cities if you could find a lake that consistently put out gills over 8", you'd have a gold mine! There is a couple I know of, but I don't wanna fish 'em out!
