Anyone been out on the ice in the past few days in Oakland County? How thick was it? Im thinking about going out on friday but i dont want to risk it.

Shore ice is going fast. If your going out I would bring a friend or two , have 911 on speed dial and wear a life jacket.....2-3 inches of slush "ice" on top of 3-4 in of good ice. Its supposed to rain today. .I was out last night and it was probally my last trip of the year.

Its not worth dying for.
