Congrats Dan!
Looks like you struck again...
Did you check out Charlies replicas in NP? They're good, if you don't get it painted in "full spawn" mode. Toned down, they look good. You are talking about the char right?

Impressive day, Dan. A 13 lb char is a true trophy.
-
It was by far, fight wise, the biggest fighting fish I've had.
That goes for me as well at least for ice fishing, anyway.

Dan is just a little jealous now cause my Laker is bigger than his , he still has me on the Char, oh well! That's fishing. We had a great day  , I took the photos while he was doing all the catching at first and then it was my turn and it paid off BIG ;D. We even got a double on the first fish I caught. Phew that lake was starting to get the better of me  and it may well in the end but we prevailed this day :flex:
Tight lines and another "Team Alaska >:D" Tourney Entry

Now that's good fishing!
I caught a 25", 5.5 lb. char in Big Lake on Saturday. Used my Vexilar FL-8 for the first time. It works, and it helped. When that fish came into the sonar cone, I was able to pull the lure up to his face, and he nailed it.
Since the limit is one char over 20", I was all done for the day, after only 20 minutes of fishing.
I'd post a picture, but I also haven't figured out how to do that.

It's easy, go to photobucket.com and register for free and all you have to do is select, load and then copy and paste from their site to here. It's that easy ;D

Big Lake Char

Hey, thanks Mr. Fireman! It works.
Now I just need to figure out how to size it down.
-
Where are you fishing at ???
About resizing, You can just select edit and then the resize options are there for you, 75%,50% or 25% of the original. Just remember if you make it smaller you have to reload the pic to get it back to the normal size and start over. One more quick tip, you must keep the pictures in a particular album and not delete them or they will no longer be viewable, same goes if you send them to another album you will have to re-post the link of the picture in the forum.
Keep up the good work  and soon it will seem like this stuff is old hat ;D

Big Lake, down here in the Matanuska Valley. I'm a DPW guy at Ft. Rich, but not at the Power Plant.

Yeah, I figured out how to size them down for better posting here. I posted another here, (http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=34232.0) but I didn't know about the other tips you gave me. Thanks. This is my first time using a photograph hosting service.
That char was only 5.5 lbs. You guys are into some fabulous fishing up there. I'm green with envy! ;D
