Used sled motors

I need a motor for a 01 Polaris 500 xc, none to be found locally but did find a Ebay seller out of  Rockford Michigan called power sports parts, anyone deal with them?

I'll call them Monday, the motor I found is 700 bucks, same year ,low miles they say,is that what I'm looking to have to spend?

I just did a complete motor rebuild on my son's sled which cost me around $1400.  I had to replace the pistons, one cylinder, full seal kit, the lower end was split and a new oil pump added.  It would of been way cheaper just to buy a used motor but I didn't want to spend say $700 and have someone else's potential problem.  Your motor may just need a top end kit which you could easily do for under $700.  Good luck

I had a co worker rebuild it,used crank head ,new pistons and jugs and seals, he put the pistons in backwards and took everything back out. I'm either going to cut it loose or find a deal on a motor. This sled maybe cursed!

Where you at Reinert? I got a 98 Polaris Indy sittin'. Ain't run in years but ran before it sat. If the motor fits and your somewhere sorta close you can have it...
