Silver Lake in Madison.

Anyone have any report on this lake. Rented a place on it for the season and planing on going up this weekend .

Mgarvey I hope your going up to ski we got 10 + sunday Silverlake isn't fishable until January I went by the lake last Sat and the wind had it all wiped up!!!! Art    P.S. Did you rent down on East shore drive

yup, unfortunately we gotta wait till the first to fish silver, but man is it a great lake. Any of y'all seen chocorua? that doesnt have a closed season and its good fishing and real pretty. I'd love to not have to make the haul up to berlin this weekend. maybe pequaket? trashy lake, but hosts some really nice bass and pikerel. maybe I should zip around and check some lakes tommorrow

I rented on west shore drive for the season.

Plan on coming up this week to snowmobile and get readt to fish.

how much ice does the lake have

Was wondering the same, what are the ice conditions, looked at the map and it looks like a very deep lake.

yeah, wicked deep lake, second only wo winni. lots of springs too, kinda slow icing up. I am gonna fish chocorua tomorrow, but on my way down I am gonna dry suit up and drill some holes on silver and will post a report. I drove by last week and it was locked up as far as I could see.

yup, silver's open on the 1st. chocorua doesnt have a closed season.
