Thanks guys! It was a great day with my father, son and a lot of good friends ;D  As soon as my buddy gets me the video he took i'll link that up. We were all excited so there is some colorful words ;D But to see that mouth come up thru the hole was awesome! What a fight with several good runs and some tense moments when the line got caught on the ice at the bottom of the hole :o   We had caught quite few in the same area all season in the 16-20" range and this fish was probably 32-33"  and over 10lbs.  It was a healthy fish @)  i fished this spot with my dad for 30yrs and this is twice the size of any fish we have ever caught there. We seen them been never been lucky enough to be the "one".

I hear ya! Game warden stopped by and saw the pic and video, he was surprised. Like I said 30 yrs to get this beast so it's rare. Caught on a tip up with 8lb floro  with a number 8 hook, medium  shiner hooked right behind dorsal fin.
