best place to try for lakers?

Want to give lakers a try, wondering if anyone could help me out on where to go?

Depends on how far you are willing to travel (Ontario or up north) and if you have some equipment needed to get to the lake (snowmobile for High Lake)....

A myriad of lake trout lakes in NW Ontario or Clearwater in west central Manitoba

With regards to Clearwater Bay Ontario there is a highway plowed from the boat launch out onto the lake.
Good acess if you dont have a sled.

cause its closed to laker fishing maybe!!
A person needs to know the boundaries and all the regulations before heading out. Ontario nro's don't go for the ignorance plea
