Had a slow drive up. Finally got to the lake about sunrise. A few people were set up. Realized I left the anchors for the quickfish in the other truck, so packed some snow around it and hoped it would hold. Buddy and I set up and in 35 minutes had our limits, stayed for a few more hours after the bite died to catch a few in between. Wind picked up around noon so we headed out. Terrible drive home, lots of people sliding around on I70. Couple of truckers were pulled off with broken chains. It was a mess up there. It was worth it for a great morning of fishing.
