Got my first Laker 22" on a tip up with credit to Schroon Laker's tips depth-hook size etc. Nice fight nice fish.

Congrats River Rat 24 nice looking laker your fish beats my personal best which is 15 inches. I have to get back to the Adirondacks one of these years and try to catch bigger lakers.

I usually release but wanted to try it so I did keep it, filleted and ate it after merinating it in soy, lemon, garlic and worchesshie sauce ..was pretty tasty and not too oily.
