Duck lake
« on: Feb 04, 2013, 08:37 AM »
My buddy fishes there during the spring and summer a lot and ive heard it's decent fishing. My question is does anyone ever ice fish it? I took a drive over there yesterday but didn't see anyone on it so i was just curious.

Fished there twice this year. Got two tip-ups that took most the line out, was working on a cottage simultaneously so missed both   ??? other than that not much action. But that doesnt mean their not in there

I haven't ice fished it in a few years..it can be a bit hairy. gas pockets and springs. having said that I have caught a lot of northerns. its a very shallow lake except a deep hole on the eastern side of the point. You will cry when you release a 6lb bass..good luck becarefull
