This will be my third year....... last year's show was great but I think this year will be even better. Who's going this year?

I'll be there, 1st year for me. Only goin on Saturday though, seen where alot said they'll be there all 3 days.

Definitely will be there on Friday. I work out in Syracuse, last year I spent about 4 hours there, walking around, picking up odds and ends here and there. Biggest buy was a new hand auger to replace a 30 year old one that was a lot of work, even with sharpened blades. Watching the Dave Genz presentation was the highlight of the event for me.

Kirkville and I will be there. We will possibly be broadcasting a few episodes from the show. It is a growing show and with support it will only get better. The North East is gaining attention.

For any one who has not been and is thinking about it I;d say it is more than worth a 2-3 hr drive. Based on how it has grown the past few years I'd expect there will be more venders ,and lots of good deals on gear. Best place to see a wide variety of hard water toys you are going to find in this general neck of the woods. As we get closer tot he show the traffic on this topic will really pick up and many of the folks you talk with on other threads will jump in.

The hard core will make it no matter what

Actually, I just spent the afternoon getting ready to go perch fishing in the morning. I've spent the summer in the stream with the fly rod...barely used the boat since spring.

But, it's time! Perchin' is about to happen!

I can wait a bit for the ice. The next 2 1/2 months are prime time

As far as the show is concerned, it's a loooong way off.

ive been to the show its nice to look at all the different things for ice fishing but imo
isnt worth going to again ....if you know what you want you can get it online for the same price
sometimes even cheaper
i went two yrs ago and seemed as though they had nothing that interested me
then again ive ice fished long enough to have and know what i want and need
i would say compare prices before hand
if you like stickers thats the show for ya..lmao

I would love to be able to go. No paid time off at work in the month of December for anyone! All of our paid time has to be used up before then.
