Pentwater lake

I will be in pentwater for the weekend.. staying in town. How is the fishing right now? Ice conditions? Looking for some pike tip up fishing or if the channel is open maybe steelhead, any help is appreciated..tight lines!

They catch steelhead thru the ice on Pere Marquette lake with regularity at the fsr east end
I have heard the same of Pentwater, but never tried it there.
Pentwater can be a good perch lake as well.
Ice should be fine

fished pentwater last friday.
about 8" of ice.
snow and slush on top
plenty of tip ups on the east end of the lake by long bridge.
perch fishing hasnt been great lots of sorting.
