i bought the plans from them and make one. Pretty darn slick. You won't have many missed hook sets that for sure.
There is only one theory about angling in which I have perfect confidence, and this is that the two words, least appropriate to any statement, about it, are the words "always" and "never."

I think those things look slick, I could definitely use a few. One ? though. How do you set your depth, is it easy to get your bait right where you want it? I fish for bows in 4-5 ft of water and like to deadstick a baited jig 6 inches from the bottom. Do you drop your stuff and then bend the rod, it seems this would move your bait up a little.
I actually was putting my bait on the bottom,setting the slammer then realing up my line until i was at the depth i wanted.The slammer doesnt actually hold your line it holds your rod.Buy one if you fish for trout you will not regret it!!!!! :tipup:
